things i used to believe, but my eyes are not wide shut anymore:
i scream I LOVE YOU into the mirror and don't believe it. one blink for no. two blinks for this is enough this is enough and i don't want it anymore. i open up an envelope to find a goldfish and your sad-eyes. i changed my mind. i changed my mind because an umbrella and a dying tree is not the same thing. and where did you get those cuts on your hand? he called back late. or maybe he just never showed up at all. maybe he was just never there at all. -- just wanted to show you some other stuff i've been working on lately. i loooove painting! =] and i've never been so inspired before in my life. i've gotten over all the things i used to believe that weren't worth believing. -- please please vote for me: [link] and let me know when you do so i can feature you as a thank you! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. Can I comment only on the little poem below? I want to, but I don't want to comment on the picture. It's abstract, and beautiful on it's own merits, and I feel like I'd be forcing myself to examine something which should be allowed speak for itself.
