in shorts and socks

This confuses me somewhat. Every time I think I'm following it, I lose it again. It's a bit of a pity too, because I absolutely love the format, and the tone. The particularly colloquial feel, which is necessary, of course. The changes in time seem perfectly spaced too... The "story" as such is well told. I feel I can relate- it reminds me of an old relationship of mine.

Anyway, I like the piece, so it's unfortunate I can't quite get my head around the telling!! The "who's speaking" in each section, that is. Seemingly I'm the only one, so maybe I'm just tired....

ha yeah it is confusing. it starts with him talking, then i dont reply. then i talk and he doesnt reply. and so on till the end where no one does. hope that can make it a little more clearer. just start with him talking.

im glad you liked it though =] and sorry you can relate to it.

I've been following your photography for a while now and noticed the bits and pieces of poetry fragments that you throw into the title and commentary of every photograph. I was hoping you'd write a whole piece soon and was pleasantly surprised that you kept the same fragmentary tone. Much like a person's thoughts would be in a situation like that.
You have my respect as a person who has the astounding capability of capturing the human essense when it is at it's lowest point in your photos and in your writing .
