Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

life and dreams

so since a few years ago when deviantart was bubbling with life, i was just wondering: how many of you are now living off photography, how many of you are working towards the dream of being a full time photographer, who just does it for a hobby and i guess the silence will let me know who doesn't go on da anymore :)

in the time i've been gone i've managed to create my dream of being a full time photographer come true. i live on my own with my boyfriend dan and my life in now a beautiful cycle of shooting and editing.

well, I think I'm kinda weird... I love photography, I will always take photos etc., but I don't wanna go to college to learn photography and then become a professional photographer. I've always wanted to be a surgeon. And even though I love photography and it's my biggest passion, it still haven't changed anything. Every day, I feel like I wanna be a surgeon even more than I wanted it the day before :)

My dream is to become a full time photographer after college. Something that just started out as a hobby now brings me more and more joy and I really can't think of what else I would do with my life if not photography. I have been feeling rather frustrated with myself of late, wanting to grow and learn faster! But I'm trying to not be so hard on my self and know that growth takes time. I will achieve my dream some day.

I hope to one day be a part-time to full-time photographer, depending on the part of the year. Right now I sometimes go weeks without shooting. I want to change that.

i used to do that too. perhaps you could try a 52 week project? just to keep you motivated and so you don't fall behind on shooting. once you get into the habit of taking photos all the time, it's such a great feeling! and i hope you get to your goal <3

Well I'm primarily a portrait photographer. The problem isn't that I can't find the motivation to take pictures, it's that I can never find many willing models to participate. But I take pictures when I can.

Photography is simply a hobby of mine - I sporadically earn some extra spending cash if I shoot events, but my true love for it lies within the art of it. I'm happy for it to be a hobby as I'm quite focussed on progressing my career in education.

I've been following you for a couple of years now and I'm glad to see that you were able to turn it into something fulltime :)
